Bravado-Concord Hotel Arlington LP Celebrated the Groundbreaking of the Hilton Garden Inn HotelARLINGTON, TX – Bravado/Concord Hotel Arlington LP  celebrated the groundbreaking of the Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Momentum Park of Arlington, TX. The new Hilton Garden Inn Dallas-Arlington is expected to open in the Spring 2009 in the heart of the entertainment district.

Located at 2190 East Lamar in Arlington, the multi-story hotel and conference center, with multiple meeting rooms and ballroom, will feature a luxury pavilion that will house the guest reception area; a full-service dining restaurant lounge and bar, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Other business amenities include 24-hour full service  business center and executive conference room.

The hotel will target the mid to up-scale market segment, including business and leisure travelers. Con-Real receives BNSF Railway DBE Newcomer of the Year Award

Con-Real, Inc., Newcomer of the Year Award – awarded to companies that are a new supplier and with which BNSF spends the most money with.

TCC Selects Austin Commercial/Con-Real J.V. as Construction Manager for Downtown Campus

FORT WORTH, Texas - Tarrant County College recently finalized a contract with Austin Commercial Inc., partnering with Con-Real, Inc. of Arlington, as Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) Joint Venture for construction of the downtown campus to open in fall 2008.

“The role of CMR is vital in the overall construction process,” said John Dawson, Director of TCC Facilities Planning. “The CMR oversees the full range of construction activities from pre-construction to building completion. This also includes construction coordination and schedule. Now that Austin Commercial/Con-Real J.V. has been selected, the construction process enters the implementation phase.”

Con-Real is a Tarrant County-based firm and the largest African American-owned construction and real estate firm in Texas. Con-Real has experience in construction of more than 250 schools to include TCC’s Southeast campus in Arlington.

TCC, the eighth largest college or university in Texas, is a multi-campus community college district with credit enrollment of nearly 35,000. The college provides accessible, affordable, quality education for the citizens of Tarrant County.
